A great milestone for the marathoners in training is :
Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) Ready to Run 20 Miler – September 18, 2011
The Cara website (http://www.cararuns.org/) also has a lot of other races, training opportunities and tips for anyone who wants to make regular running part of their routine.
The Ready to run 20 miler was really helpful to gauge Marathon readiness for me when I ran in 2010.
Great initiative on the blog!
Thanks
